Fake IDs are a torture for both boys as well as girls nowadays in facebook, we boys get deceived by fake girl profiles and girls getting annoyed by fake IDs. So, here, I have some ideas to detect fake IDs, and these are things which I do to find out whether an ID is fake or not.
1.The first thing you can do is save the profile picture of the suspicious ID, and then click the following link to open the google image search:

And then now make your browser window small and drag the saved photo to google image search and start searching, if you can see the photo been posted in many profiles and websites then the profile is bound to be fake.
2.Profile analysis is the second thing you can do, just go through the profile you suspect, see their about section, photos and the most important thing is their friends list, if it contains global friends, then it may be fake, and if it contains local friends, it might not be fake, and all we have to do is analysis, and see the groups they joined and their recent activity.
3.Another thing you can do is maps, every facebook profile has a map section attached to their profile which reveals the places from where the account has been logged in frequently and recently and the places been visited and all. Try to match the place in the maps with the info in their about section, so, if there comes any mismatch then we can be sure it is a fake ID.
4.Try looking at the profile URLs, mostly the fake ID users are not that good at computer stuff, and some people use their own names as a profile url unknowingly.
To be safe and secure on the internet, girls never do upload your original pictures in facebook, and if you want to do so, then after setting the profile picture, then change the privacy setting to only me, so, that it can't be opened by any idiots. And try to keep the profile pictures with moderate quality pictures, I mean, the higher the resolution is, then the possibility to edit it will be more easier, so, if you keep the low quality profile pictures, then bad editors can't be easily able to edit your picture in any bad form.
