Beyond Ur Mind: Computer Hangs A Lot? How To Fix Without Changing OS?

Hey Guys, Welcome Back..!

Just like our bike, if not taken regular care, our Computers will also start to annoy us. I've seen people changing their Operating System frequently to run their computer smoothly. But, it's a time sucking work that will require you to install whole drivers and other games and software all along again.

As you all aware of the thing that computers do much of our day to day work by creating temporary files in our hard-disk for proper operation especially Internet Browsers, we browse a lot, everything that loads on our browser gets stored as temporary files that has to be cleaned manually and regularly for smooth operation of the computer.

So today, I'll share few easy and simple things to get rid of hanging problems and to make your computer work like a new-one without changing the OS again.

Step 1: Press "WindowsKey+R" to open RUN command box and type: temp

Step 2: You'll get a folder with lots of strange files, press "Ctrl+A" to select all the files and press "Shift+Delete" to permanently delete them.

Step 3: Press "WindowsKey+R" to open RUN command box and type: %temp%

You'll again get another folder with lots of strange files, press "Ctrl+A" to select them all and press "Shift+Delete" to permanently delete those files.

Step 4: Press "WindowsKey+R" to open RUN command box and type: msconfig

A dialog box like above will open, goto 'Startup' tab as shown circled in the above picture. Disable (UnCheck) all the unwanted applications from auto-starting whenever you switch on your computer and click on Apply and press OK.

Step 5: Check your Desktop Screen for Broken Shortcuts, that is, shortcuts of uninstalled applications.

Step 6: Open Control Panel and open Disk Defragmenter (You can do search from the Control Panel).

Select each local-disk-drive of your Hard-Disk and click on Defragment Disk button to defragment each local-disk-drive, this will reduce and organize file fragments in your hard-disk for faster files access and operation.

Step 7: If you wish, you can download an application software named "CCleaner" to regularly clean and maintain your computer.
