How To Make An Invisible Folder In Your Computer

Today, we're gonna see how to make an invisible folder in your computer for storing your precious files..! 

Some people might already be aware of this trick, but, I have made a small change to make this trick run smooth in all newer Windows versions without any run-time error during folder operations. 

So, here we are, just follow the steps below: 

Step 1: Create a new Folder. You can also use the shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+N) to create a new folder.

Step 2: When it asks you to enter the Folder name, press the following one by one:

Alt+0160
Space-bar
Alt+0160

Step 3: Now that your folder will be without a name, it's time to remove the folder icon to make it completely invisible.

Step 4: Right click on the folder and goto 'Properties' and goto 'Customize' tab and click on "Change Icon" button at the bottom.

Step 5: You'll get a small window with several icons, just scroll through it a little bit and select a blank icon for your folder and then click 'OK'.

Step 6: Now, click on 'Apply' and click on 'OK'. Voila, your new invisible folder is ready.

Points To Note:-

1. This folder just behaves like a normal folder.

2. You can open it up with just a double click.

3. All you need to keep in mind is the location where you have positioned the folder. 4. Always mingle your invisible folder with other folders so that people won't be able to identify it.

5. See the below two pictures, none can see our invisible folder until you click on it..!

6. This way you can create any number of invisible folders, but make sure you name it with different combinations of alt+0160 and space-bar while creating several invisible folders to avoid same name conflict.
