Increase The Internet Speed

The Internet we use today has become an essential thing in everyone's family. From the small children to the older persons, everyone needs entertainment and have other purposes apart from entertainment on the internet.

Sometimes, our internet is not as we expected, due to traffic, weather conditions, the speed varies, and the most frequent complaint from every internet user is

"MY INTERNET IS NOT SPEED. HOW TO SPEED UP MY INTERNET"

You might have gone for 2Mbps plan which should give 224kilobytes/second transfer rate, but the actual speed you may be getting is 180kilobytes/second, sounds weird???

Yeah, In most of the computers, 20% of the internet speed is reserved for other uses, so, you cannot get the full speed for your paying, now, in this article, lets see how to get rid of that 20% reservation of the internet speed by the system, go ahead, read the steps and do as per instructed in the article and you are done.

Thats it, after this, you can gain a 20% more speed of the internet and start browsing faster, time is valuable. Use it wisely :) :)

In windows PC, by default, 20% of your connection resource have been set aside for other purposes and your browser or
download manager would not be able to use it!!! So, now, we are going to tweak this and remove the default allocation and gonna gain 20% speed. This is a older trick only, but, here, I wanted to make this known to everybody and explain what is this and why we need to tweak and how do we tweak!!! -:ajay:-

1.Press Windows key + R button to open RUN box.

2.Type   gpedit.msc   in the box provided on RUN BOX and click on OK.

3.Then, a new window called "Local Group Policy Editor" will be opened.

4.There, you can see a option called "Computer Configuration", double click on it.

5.Now, again double click on the third option called "Administrative Templates".

6.Now, double click and open "Network" option.

7.
Again, now open "QoS Packet Scheduler" option by double clicking.

8.Now, Double Click On "Limit Reservable Bandwidth", then, do as in the following image:

9.If you choose "Disabled", the default 20% will be reserved. So, choose "Enabled" and then set "Bandwidth Limit" to 0%, and press "OK"

10.Thats it, all done, you are ready to experience the speed gain of 20%.
